V. COURT REGULATIONS DURING HOA OPEN TIME
A. The assigned use of the courts as set forth in Paragraph III will be monitored by the Recreation Committee with any infractions reported to the General Manager for appropriate action.
B. All Cottonwood Palo Verde members, renters, associate members and guests with a valid guest pass are eligible to use the seven Cottonwood Pickleball courts. Visitors who are without a valid guest pass must be accompanied by a homeowner.
C. No play is allowed before 7:00am or after 9:00pm October through April.
D. Playing time is limited to one hour for doubles and singles.
E. HOA open time Sign-up
1. Players wanting to schedule a court must sign up on the Pickleball Chalkboard next to the courts.
2. Court play is scheduled in one hour increments beginning at the top of the hour :00 ending on the same hour :59.
3. Players sign in their name (and only their name) and a number of players (no limit) beneath a court designation.
4. Player(s) may sign up for a court as far in advance as they wish, however, one player from the group must stay in the sign-up area until the remaining members arrive.
F. An individual who has played for an hour previously during HOA time, may play again that day, provided the times are at least one hour apart, unless there is no one waiting to use the courts. Then the times may be consecutive. A pickleball club member who plays the last hour of reserved club time may not play the first hour of HOA time unless there is no one waiting to use the courts.
G. Groups playing prior to a previously scheduled event must leave the court at the start of the event.
H. All pickleball courts are available for play to any HOA member in good standing, their guests, and renters following pickleball HOA time sign up procedures on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
